The above addresses are two of our favorite parks which we attend when on our field trips. These parks offer a very nice walking trail and at the San LeandrMarina Park it also has a  fenced in play area for both  small and large dog At both locations the dogs are allowed to play and meet new friends as well as have a nice rest in the sun. When on field trips our staff main focus is the utmost care and safety of your pet.

A DAY AT THE DOG PARK:

Dog parks are a wonderful place for a dog to socialize and get plenty of exercise, and it's also a great place for owners to take a break and mingle with other dog enthusiasts. Make sure to follow all the dog park rules and the tips below:

* Only bring a dog -friendly dog to the dog park

* Never bring an ill dog or a dog not fully vaccinated to the dog park

* Make sure your dog has a collar and tags at all times-even in the dog park

*Introduce your dog to the park and other dogs slowly and let him/her go at his/her own pace and never leave them unattended

* Do not bring treats or favorite toys with you, as they can cause possessiveness

* Make sure to pick up after your dog

* Keep a canine first aid kit in your car in case of accidents and be aware of the closest veterinary facility

* Do not try to break up a dog fight by stepping in; use water or a loud noise like banging two water bowls together

* Bring a flea comb and comb off your dog before getting back in the car
